From noon on 4th April to noon on 5th April 2025, our parish opened its doors for 24 hours, offering opportunities for Eucharistic Adoration, confession, and personal prayer. It was a beautiful way to deepen one’s spiritual journey during Lent and a wonderful opportunity for our parish community to come together in prayer for World Peace and Vocations.
Over the 24-hour period, more than 72 parishioners spent time in prayer before the Real Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Thank you so much for this precious and amazing time spent together in silence.
All your written intentions placed before Jesus, asking for healing, were incensed at the 24th hour and will be prayed over and read during the Holy Week period.
A big thank you to Margaret Blaber, Rita and Terry Curran, Sylvia Polley, John Hughes, and Paul Bryanhill for beautifully adorning and preparing the altar to aid our prayer and silence before Jesus. Thank you to the Parish Liturgy & Worship team for making the 24 Hours for the Lord happen.
May we always receive the grace of the light of Jesus and help us remove the obstacles that block our path towards the LIGHT – CHRIST.
