House Groups – First Meetings

“For where two or three meet in My name, I am there among them.”

Matthew 18:20

Have you ever wondered how Elizabeth felt about being at first childless and then miraculously expecting a baby late in life?  What did she think when her baby leapt in her womb when Mary came to visit?

These were some of the things reflected on and discussed at the first Advent House Group meetings which were held this week.

We also talked about our hopes for the next few weeks and enjoyed a wonderful opportunity to have a calm, convivial and prayerful hour or so in the company of fellow parishioners.

There are currently four groups meeting:

  • Sunday afternoons
  • Monday afternoons
  • Monday evenings
  • Wednesday afternoons

There is still space in all the groups and you don’t have to commit to all four sessions.  You can come along to the drop-in session at 2pm on Monday afternoons in the Hall or contact Deacon Paul to see if there is space in one of the other groups.
