What are House Groups?
For those of you who are new to house groups, the concept is quite simple and involves a small group of people regularly meeting in each other’s homes to study, pray and support each other.Â
House groups are an amazing way to build deep relationships, share experiences and often new lifelong friendships are formed through this process.Â
Each year we organise house groups in Advent and Lent so please join us for a time of fellowship, reflection and celebration in a warm and welcoming house group setting. Â
Lent 2026
This Lent we have put together our own material for six sessions in preparation for Easter. At each session we will reflect on and pray about the gospel for the following Sunday. The materials also include poetry and artwork to aid reflection and discussion.Â
Groups will start meeting in the week commencing Monday 16th February 2026 and will continue for six weeks until the week ending Sunday 30th March 2026 (Palm Sunday).Â

FAQs
How many sessions will there be?
The Lent House groups will run for six weeks starting in same week as Ash Wednesday (w/c 16 February 2026) and finishing in the week ending with Palm Sunday (30 March 2026). Â
Where will I find the prepared materials for the meetings?Â
All the materials are available to download here and will also be printed and circulated via your house group host.
What if I can’t find a date and time that suits me?
If none of the times or dates above are suitable, would you be willing to host your own group? If yes, please provide details using the link below. We will create a new group and add it to the groups available on this webpage.
What if my preferred group is already full?
Record your interest and we will let you know if any more places or groups become available.
Can I form my own group with family and friends?
Yes –Â let us know how many are in your group so that we can provide you with the printed Lent House Group materials.
I can’t make all six weeks of the programme. Is it ok if I miss a session?
Yes that’s fine – just let your host know. If you are a host and have a problem with one of the dates, make arrangements within your group for someone else to host.
